Most of our environment has been touched by designers - artists!
You may be a candidate for a career in the arts, drawing, painting, sculpting, or designing clothing, shoes, buildings, cars. Deciding to follow art as a career path is a major decision. This web page attempts to provide you with information to help you decide which path to follow within the arts. The opportunities are extensive. If you have an instinct or intuition for line, color, form, space, a career in art may be a logical choice for you.
Here are a few essential elements of an artists toolbox:

- Diversity - artists and designers need a variety of studios skills as well as writing and speaking skills.
- Solid design background - no matter what art path .. basic drawing and design are vital.
- Computer literacy - more and more art is done with computers; knowing programs and their updates is important.
